Admittance
New Members Openings: We’re happy to announce that we’re opening up our membership roster. Starting this Saturday, we will accept applications for up to 10 new members. Here are the details:
- Applications will be accepted starting at 8:30am on Saturday morning, July 31.
- A Late Season Discount applies: $25 off the regular $200 membership dues. Total dues: $175
- New applicants must fill out and present in-person these 3 items:
(1) the membership application: 2010 Member Application and Waiver
(2) their health insurance info on the application
(3) their membership dues check.
- TCSC will only accept applications when all three items are presented together.
- Up to 10 new membership applications will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. If fewer than 10 people apply, TCSC will continue to accept applications on club sailing days (Tuesday at 5:30pm and Saturday at 9:00am) until 10 new members are accepted.

Returning Members: Former TCSC members may join at any time during the season. Just come down to the Lake Harriet boat shed during Skipper Week (evenings May 10-14), or during club sailing time (Saturdays at 9:00AM and Tuesdays at 5:30PM) and ask for the Dock Captain. Please have your application, waiver and dues with you. Returning skippers must join by May 14th in order to take advantage of the skipper discount!

Dues:
Standard dues are $200.

Discounts (only one may apply):
- Student ($50). Awarded to full-time students only. Proof of full-time student status may be required.
- Skipper ($50). Only available through skipper week (May 10-14)! For current and past club skippers only. A member may not join the club for the first time as a skipper, but all members are eligible to become skippers. Skippers play a very important role in the club by providing an environment for less-experienced sailors to practice their sailing skills during instruction. Skippers adhere to “The Deal.”

- Skippering a boat twice per month on Tuesdays or Saturdays
